About the role
We are seeking a PDS & Level 9 Support Specialist at Sekhukhune's Marula Operations to provide technical support, installation and maintenance for A&R systems and equipment in underground mining environments.
The successful candidate will supervise technical teams, liaise with mine management, coordinate daily activities, attend to operational requirements and ensure accurate reporting while delivering safe and reliable customer support.
Minimum requirements
- Qualified Electrician or Auto Electrician
- Degree or diploma in Engineering studies
- Matric / Grade 12
- Supervisory experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literacy, including Excel, Word and basic computer skills
- Medically fit for underground work
- Report-writing and written-communication skills
- Ability to conduct one-on-one training on the job
- Conversant with A&R equipment
Duties
Including but not limited to:
- Maintain and install company products on the mine
- Supervise a team and liaise with senior mine management
- Perform underground work
- Organise daily duties
- Attend meetings
- Report daily to the manager
- Assess job cards
- Compile reports
