About the role
We are seeking a PAS Support Mechanician to install, maintain and repair A&R equipment in an underground mining environment.
The successful candidate will attend to breakdowns, liaise with mine personnel and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably while supporting daily site operations.
Successful candidates will be invited for a first-round practical skills assessment.
Minimum requirements
- Electrician or Auto Electrician Trade Certificate
- Matric Certificate with Mathematics and Science
- Medically fit to work underground
- Minimum of three years' experience in the mining industry (advantageous)
- Own transport
- Competent B Certificate
Additional requirements
- Ability to work shifts
- Ability to work independently

- Install and maintain A&R equipment
- General housekeeping
- Attend to breakdowns on the mine
- Liaise with mine personnel
