About the role
We are seeking an experienced Lamproom Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of Lamproom, Equipment Control Point (ECP/VECP) and LRMS/CMMS services across multiple mining operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SLA performance, operational teams, projects, client relationships and resource planning while ensuring safe, efficient and compliant service delivery. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, improving system performance and ensuring the successful execution of maintenance, support and project activities.
Minimum requirements
- Medically fit
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Mining and Lamproom experience will be beneficial
- Must be literate
- Own transport
- Able to work shifts and to operate independently and as part of a team

Scope of work
SLA and service delivery management
- Oversee the delivery of SLA commitments across multiple sites
- Monitor service performance and ensure contractual compliance
- Implement corrective actions to address service delivery deviations
Operational and resource management
- Manage daily Lamproom and Equipment Control Point operations
- Plan and allocate personnel, shifts, equipment and resources effectively
- Ensure optimal staffing levels while controlling operational costs
Project management
- Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of projects
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope and within budget
- Coordinate resources, stakeholders and project activities
Team leadership and development
- Lead, mentor and develop operational teams
- Drive productivity, accountability and continuous improvement
- Monitor team performance and support skills development
Client and stakeholder management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mine management and clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement
- Provide regular operational and project performance reporting
Compliance, risk and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
- Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
