About the role
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist at Rustenburg on our Bambanani Operations to provide operational, administrative and technical support, installation, and maintenance of A&R systems and equipment in underground mining environments. The successful candidate will supervise technical teams, liaise with mine management, coordinate daily activities, attend to operational requirements, and ensure accurate reporting while delivering safe and reliable customer support.
Minimum requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Matric/Grade 12
- Additional certifications in equipment maintenance or mining software are advantageous
- 3+ years of experience in a mining environment
- Supervisory Experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Basic computer skills)
- Medically Fit for underground work
- Conversant with A&R equipment
