About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Lampsman to join our team at Rustenburg's Tharisa Operations on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective control, maintenance and issuing of cap lamps and related equipment in accordance with site safety standards and operational requirements. Minimum requirements
- Medically fit
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
- Own transport
- North-West Lampsman Ticket
- At least 3 years' experience as a Lampsman
- Able to work shifts and operate independently and as part of a team
Key responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
- Oversee the lamproom
- Supervise lamproom attendants
- Compile lamproom legals
- Reporting
- General housekeeping
